Ingredients
- 500 g spelled flour*
- 1 cube fresh yeast or 1 packet (7g) of dry yeast
- 450 ml lukewarm water
- 2 tbsp. dark balsamic vinegar*
- 2 tsp. kosher salt*
- 2 tbsp. bread seasoning optional
- 60 g linseed flaxseed
- 60 g pumpkin seeds or seeds / nuts of your choice
- native olive oil*
Instructions
- Dissolve the yeast in 450 ml lukewarm water.
- Brush a bread pan or loaf tin with a little olive oil.
- Place the flour in a bowl and mix in all the dry ingredients.
- Now slowly mix the yeast water and the balsamic vinegar into the dry ingredients while stirring and mix everything to form a dough. (The dough looks quite runny, but is normal)
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
- Now put the baking pan in the cold oven and set the temperature to 200 °C and bake for about 50 minutes. (see tip)
- After 50 minutes, take the bread out of the pan and bake for another 10 minutes.
- Then let the bread cool on a wire rack.
