Spinach Hummus Recipe – tips and tricks
If you want to make your creamy spinach hummus even tastier, you can follow these tips and tricks:
- Add a little more garlic to enhance the flavor.
- If you like it spicier, add chilli flakes or replace some of the chickpeas with red lentils or hot peppers.
- For a particularly creamy consistency, finely puree the chickpeas with a hand blender or in a food processor before adding the other ingredients.
- It gets even creamier if you mix a whole avocado into the hummus. (The spinach hummus should then be eaten soon, because even with more lemon juice, the beautiful green color will not last as long as without avocado)
